Single Cartridge Mechanical Seals are pre-assembled, easy-to-install sealing units designed for pumps with different PCDs, thanks to the slotted gland plate. These seals are independent of shaft rotation direction and can be configured in both balanced and unbalanced designs. A common seal head and mating ring are used across all versions, and the system is reversible—allowing for either rotating seal head or rotating mating ring operation. The components are also interchangeable with metal bellows seal heads, providing greater flexibility. An optional quench gland with carbon ring throttle bushing is available for additional sealing and safety in critical applications.
