Sizing & Selection

Select tube OD, thread type (NPT/BSPP/BSPT), and material to match service media and pressure. For chloride‑rich or offshore environments, choose Super Duplex. For sour service, request NACE compliant material.

Installation Notes

Ensure tube is cut square and deburred.
Insert tube to shoulder; tighten nut 1¼ turns past finger‑tight (new make‑up) or as per torque table.
Verify pull‑up with a mark or gap gauge.

Q1. What is the difference between NPT, BSPP, and BSPT threads?
NPT is tapered per ASME B1.20.1; BSPP is parallel per ISO 228; BSPT is tapered per ISO 7. Match thread type to mating port to avoid leaks.
